In this post, I am going to show you how to install Sidewalk Scout  on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Sidewalk Scout  using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. Sidewalk Scout is a crowdsourcing Android app can be used by the public to report problems with sidewalk quality and connectivity.  The app allows users to submit a picture of a sidewalk problem (such as a pothole, obstruction, or surface discontinuity) along with the description of the problem.  The sidewalk problem location is automatically attached to the report, allowing the server to precisely identify the location of the sidewalk issues for use in community planning.  The Sidewalk Scout server is used to create reports of identified problems for the City of Atlanta that can be used for use in sidewalk and ramp repair prioritization.  A website interface (http://sidewalkscout.ce.gatech.edu) allows users to view sidewalk problems reported by Atlanta neighborhood
