In this post, I am going to show you how to install Visor GNSS on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Visor GNSS using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Visor GNSS" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

How to install Visor GNSS on Windows PC using NoxPlayer

  1. Download & Install NoxPlayer at: https://www.bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file to the NoxPlayer interface and drop it to install
  3. The installation process will take place quickly. After successful installation, you can find "Visor GNSS" on the home screen of NoxPlayer, just click to open it.

This mobile application allows you to check the status of communications RTK GNSS users with public networks public reference stations in Spain and Portugal.

They are available all public networks attached to the viewer GNSS (http://visorgnss.es).

The main tab contains a map display state of the various GNSS stations all partner networks using different icons for each network, and different colors for the status of each GNSS station: green to indicate that operating normally; red to indicate that is not operational; blue to indicate that it is not in the "sourcetable" from his caster; yellow background to indicate that the station has not been updated more than 15 minutes period; and gray to indicate that the viewer GNSS is not checking their status. Clicking on each marker, the corresponding information to the down station will open.

The Casteres tab contains a list of the IP / DNS relationship and collaborative network port of each viewer GNSS

The Cortes Graphics tab, under user selection of the GNSS network and the particular day chart type shows a timeline, with the historical status of the GNSS network stations for the selected date.

The NTRIP Analysis tab has two tools, the first users can check 'in situ' and with a direct connection, the status of a caster, a "mountpoint ', the availability of Internet connection and access credentials to the network GNSS concerned. So at a glance you know if at some point you have trouble connecting with your team RTK GNSS, where they can come connection problems. In the second tool, choosing a network GNSS Viewer and according to the user's location, calculate GNSS station (for the selected network) is the closest and a few kilometers is the user.

The Client Ntrip Bluetooth, tab implements a connection between a NtripCaster and a Bluetooth device so that the entire outgoing data stream from the caster Ntrip Bluetooth device sends, to for example, connect this device to a radio and power emit corrections environment covering said radius according to its potency.

It has included a NTRIP Agenda so that the user can save your connection profiles common to Casteres NTRIP and load quickly on eyelashes or Client Analysis NTRIP NTRIP Bluetooth
