In this post, I am going to show you how to install StageCue FREE REMOTE Cue Light on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install StageCue FREE REMOTE Cue Light using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. Stage Cue is a unique application for professional or amateur Theatre staff alike. Conventional stage cueing devices rely on wired connections to communicate with Sound/Lighting to Stage Managers. This is not always convenient as Stage Managers often have to be away from their post, attending to actors and unforeseen issues. Alternatively Lighting crew can be up in an inaccessible part of the theatre gantry.

The StageCue app is a totally wireless solution for Android or Apple devices. Simply connect both devices to the same wifi router. (This router doesn’t even need to be connected to the internet). Then start the apps on both devices to establish a connection.

In use, press a Red or Green button on the master device, the remote phone app will flash the corresponding colour. The recipient then presses the flashing button to show a confirmation “OK” on both devices. With StageCue the operators both know the state of readiness of each other.

The tablet version has a built in real time clock, stopwatch and programmable Cue List. Simply Give a cue a name, select the channels you want to fire with the yellow buttons and press the master yellow button. The channels selected are programmed against that cue, scroll to a new cue to set the channels to arm on that command.
