All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Play G Student using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "G Student" icon on the home screen to start playing, it'll work like a charm :D

Gooseberry Student is part of the Gooseberry Planet Programme. It is a unique game app designed to teach children how to stay safe online. It comprises 50 short, scenario-based games and workbooks divided into 5 different age levels from 5-13 years.

In each game, a character called Taff faces issues such as who to accept as a 'friend' online, how to create strong passwords through to issues of gaming, online dangers and live streaming. The child attempts to help Taff make the right decisions by completing 4 questions in each game.

Within the school environment, a child will explore the issues with their teacher before attempting the game questions, but the app can also be used as a standalone game at home. There are workbooks that complement each game and reinforce the teaching.
