Biographical Note of the author

Painter and avid hiker of forests and the Sardinian countryside, lives and works in Cagliari, where he was born in April of '38, in the house campidanese family in Montserrat.
Skip the post-war childhood games and the shelter of the houses between the salt ponds of Macchiareddu, whose lights and colors will mark forever his talent as an artist. His painting is primarily expressed in the landscape, in the figurative. It prefers the technique of watercolor, oil and acrylic. The themes of his works tell of Sardinia, the forests, the sea, the rocks, the beaches.

The artistic career began in the '80s, and after 15 years of research and studies, the association joins Cagliari "Art in the City", with which he presents to the public from participating in '95 in all events of the association and various exhibitions. In December of '96 she opened her first solo exhibition at the "Coterie of the Arts" of Cagliari to be followed by a fervent and intense work.

Participated in important group exhibitions: from '95 to '98 in Cagliari "Piazza Yenne" with Art in the City, in Jesolo in 2000 at the international exhibition of paintings of the Estense Castle, in Venice in 2002 at the national exhibition group exhibition "Painters of Marine d 'Italy'. From 2004 to 2006 he participated in Cagliari monthly appointment of "Painters and Sculptors in the Square" with the association "Coffee Art". Vince "Vivicastello" in '99.
Besides the 16 solo shows: in '98 with "Tribute to our land" at the art gallery The Board of Cagliari, in '99 with "Arrastusu and Beridadisi" in the charming rooms of the former Pharmacy Saluz and in 2003, in Cagliari The Citadel Museum is hosting its exhibition "One day ..... arrolliendi coast coast", with which the artist pays homage to his native Sardinia with the gait of a sailor who goes through all the coasts, and on each landing, transcribes the wonders he encounters. The sequence of the seascapes of Piscinas, S'Archittu of St. Catherine of Pittinurri, Cala Goloritzé Stintino and winds through forests and wonderful representations of Cagliari in the eyes of the artist, made of small glimpses of bright, impressive squares and ponds d 'opal. In 2008, the journey between the colors of Sardinia continues with raid artistic flourishing in the lush landscapes of Arborea, gathered in the exhibition "Colors of Arborea and its waters" to the municipal museum in the archaeological site of the Mill. 2009 opens with the solo "A day and a de et nights" in the former Art School of Piazzetta Dettori in Cagliari where relive the traditions of his beloved Sardinia in a game of images and landscapes by day and by night. The spring brings in Romania, in Sibiu where the artist participated in the exhibition of Italian artists sponsored by the Lions. The beautiful rooms of the Royal Palace of Cagliari welcome, between September and October, the staff "spurts of Light and Color", achieved thanks to the patronage of the President of the Province of Cagliari, and with which the artist declares in a more clear and absolute falling in love for the light as lively and powerful force of nature on the island.

In the series "Autumn in Barbagia" in 2011, exhibits the work "Glimpses and Sardinian traditions" at the municipal art gallery of Atzara and, at the end of the same year until the beginning of 2012, is in Sardara with the exhibition "Emotions contemplative" at Exhibition Hall House Pilloni.
In 2013 participated in the exhibition "The sensitive and sensual" in Cagliari at the Palace "Royal Mail", with the work "Nocturne intriguing."
