In this digital age we are surrounded by a mix of passwords and PINs. This sometimes becomes an overload for human mind to remember all these passwords and PINs. The simplest way to manage the same is to either write it down on a piece of paper or on the personal notebook or one some protected document inside the desktop/laptop. Both these methods of storage suffer from the problem of carrying an extra baggage of the storage equipment (diary, laptop etc.). Keeping this in mind the SimSim app aims in reducing this burden by providing all these information at the fingertips of the user.

The proposed mobile app will be an extremely simple app which will be used to store the confidential data of the user. Some of the data which can be stored using this app are as under.

- Email id and password
- Login id and password (for any web or mobile applications requiring authentication including social networking applications)
- PINs of credit and debit card
- Credit/Debit card numbers
- Credit/Debit card details (like CVC, expiry date etc.)
- Bank A/C details (A/C number, IFSC code, customer id etc.)
- DEMAT account details
- Bank locker details
- Any other generic information which needs some data/number to be remembered to access the same.
The app will reside on the smartphones of the user and will be localized to that phone only. The app will make the user to sign a digital declaration that the users are using the app at their own risk and should be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the information.
The app will have a two factor authentication for viewing /updating/adding any new information. The first level of authentication will be when the app is invoked and the second level of authentication is when any information is requested to be added/modified/viewed.
Some of the advanced features we can incorporate in future like sending any set of information over SMS after doing a round of authentication on the same.
We can also look at some option of exporting this entire data in form of an encrypted file which can be imported by another app in case the user decides to change the phone.
