In this post, I am going to show you how to install AppScreen List - Tasker Plugin on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install AppScreen List - Tasker Plugin using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "AppScreen List - Tasker Plugin" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

This free Tasker plugin (my first) will allow you to create good looking, Material Design list pages. You can populate the list pages with whatever content you want, using Tasker variables if you so wish.

This can be used, for example, to retrieve data from a web page and populate in a list app for you to see, such as latest job vacancies, latest movie listings and much more. You can even use this to populate information about your device in a list, such as battery level etc.

You can choose what to do when an item is pressed by using AutoApps (separate app download).

HOW IT WORKS

After downloading the Tasker AppScreen List - Plugin, you will also need to download AutoApps from the Android Play Store. When you select a list item, this sends the title of the list item to AutoApps as a command.

You can then use the AutoApps Tasker condition to react if that list item was pressed.
