I want to play Mozart no 40 but I do not want to go to school for 8 years to be able to play it. It is a performance grade piece. I buy a korg mcirokey 61 and create a simple app to learn to play with it. As long as you can find the midi file of the music, the app can display the notes according to the piano key. In such as way, I manage to learn an easy version of Mozart no 40 in 6 months. I am happy with it and play everyday. And now I want to connect my android to external sound module where I can listen to my favourite DIY metallic piano sound.

The app is equipped to connect to external sound module like Korg volca sample / keys / Bass / Beats or Yamaha keyboard via a USB to midi cable. As the falling note goes, it plays sound on your external keyboard. No setting for midi is required. You only need to plug in the usb midi cable. Please see the uploaded video.

I find existing midi player apps in Google Play are not free and do not provide an easy and fast way to scroll through the falling notes. As long as you can find the midi file in the internet, you can learn to play the music free. And there is no free app to send midi out to my Korg volca keys or other sound module. The midi out goes to any keyboard with a midi in.

Optional connection for external sound module system requirement:
- OTG cable
- Usb Midi cable for Korg volca. USB to USB for Casio digital piano and Yamaha keyboard.
- See photos and video for setup

To download midi song
- open your phone browser
- google your song midi
- once you find a file .mid file link, tap and hold to save link
- it will download to your phone
- go to app and select menu > load to your download file
- alternatively, copy your midi file to your sd card on your laptop and insert to phone

The midi player has a free add on sound module where you can play 128 realistic instruments and download other sound font from the internet.

Cost: Free for music lovers
