In this post, I am going to show you how to install AH Productscanner on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install AH Productscanner using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. Albert Heijn has launched a new app, the AH Product Scanner. With this trial, you have direct access to all information about 35 products: ingredients, nutritional values, allergen information, recipes and information about origin. In the next phase of the other products to be added to the app.

Note: In this trial are not yet identified all AH products. You recognize the products along in this phase on a sticker on the packaging refers to the AH Product Scanner. If our customers appreciate the new app, the AH Scanner product will eventually be integrated into the Appie app and the number of scannable products expand in the near future to all AH own brand products.

The AH Product Scanner uses augmented reality, a technology that connects the real and virtual worlds together. After scanning the front of the product with the phone camera you see an attractive and accessible way information about ingredients, allergens, and nutritional origin. And because many people puzzling every day with the question "What do we eat today?" The app also gives inspiration to a delicious and easy to make Allerhande recipe.
