The programme involves reading some captivating Hausa books that are full of information, education and most importantly entertainment. The 30 minutes programme was aired on so many radio stations at one time or the other in the north as sponsored by many companies including the MTN, the company that used to place it on air in places like Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto, and Maiduguri.
Some of the radio stations where the programme is on air currently are: Express Radio Kano, Bond FM 92.9 Lagos, Freedom FM Kaduna, and Platinum FM Abuja.
It is on record that this is the only radio programme that enjoys a total acceptance by the people of Kano state – that has a population of 20 million people. It is strongly believed that more than 70% of the radio listeners are hooked to the programme on daily basis. I must emphasize that having a breakthrough in Kano is not an easy task, because the moment someone is accepted in Kano, is like getting accepted in the entire north.
