Ticket to Talk hopes to encourage conversation between younger people and their grandparents, friends, or other people they care for who are experiencing dementia. The app is designed to help collect and curate digital media ("tickets") to be used to prompt and stimulate talk, conversation, and reminiscence between younger people and those they are close to with dementia.

Use Ticket to Talk to create a profile for a relative or friend with dementia. After this you can then attach a collection of pictures, sounds, and, videos to their profile. Once you have a collection of tickets you can use these with your friend or relative to help overcome conversational gaps as they arise.

With Ticket to Talk you can invite other family members, friends, and professional carers to join you in creating and sharing tickets. This means that anyone you have invited can use the same tickets in conversation with your older relative, friend, or someone you care for to help make future social interactions more fun and engaging for everyone.
