In this post, I am going to show you how to install Vision QR and Barcode Scanner on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Vision QR and Barcode Scanner using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

• As soon as a code is recognized, the device will display the results to you!

• Your result will be displayed to you with the information is hiding within the QR Code or Barcode. It is usually text or numbers. After, you can share the content and copy it to your clipboard for later use.

• If your result happens to be a URL or a website of any type, the app will show you the contents of the URL and offer to open the link for you in your default browser. This is great from a security standpoint as you should always check and verify websites are legitimate before opening them.

• Vision Code Scanner uses the minimum amount of permissions possible for the app to work. We just need access to the camera to scan your codes efficiently. Vision Code Scanner also does not have access to the internet. This translates to no ads, no tracking , or any funny business.

• Auto-Detect is enabled by default and opens the first code the app finds. If you uncheck Auto-Detect, you can scan multiple codes at the same time and then click on the one which you want with a colored box surrounding it).

• Flash is not enabled by default but it great for low-light or night scanning, it can be enabled very easily by checking the "Use Flash" box.

• The app works in both portrait and landscape modes.

• You can now also Generate QR Codes for Text, Wi-Fi Network, Email, URL, and more (Via the menu - 3 dots on top right corner of your screen)


• The Scanner universally supports 13 different Barcodes/QR Code variants. Here is the full list:
1D Barcodes: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code-39, Code-93, Code-128, ITF, Codabar
2D Barcodes: QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF-417, AZTEC
