A simple speedometer app that displays your current GPS speed and provides a few other features...

There is a button to invert the main display colours, making it suitable for night-time use.
Tapping on the speed display cycles units between km/h, mph and m/s.

It pauses location tracking when the app is minimised or closed, and then resumes when the app is reopened, so battery is not wasted.

For devices with Android API 24+, the status of the GPS is displayed by changing the colour of the toolbar. Red means GPS is disabled, orange is waiting for a location fix and then the primary purple colour is when the device has a GPS fix.

This is a personal Android development exercise. The app fullfills a simple need but does it well. I appreciate all feedback and suggestions, but I can't guarantee which I will work on.

This app is written in Kotlin, and I've tried to use the cool features of the language where appropriate. Check out the source here: https://github.com/aidandavis/SuperSimpleSpeedo
