What does this application allow you?
Designed to speed up and simplify the process of counting and calculating the viability of yeast cells, as well as calculating the inoculum. Aimed at the brewing industry as a useful tool for the implementation of yeast reuse and fermentation monitoring in order to improve the quality of the final product.
This application has a web support (https://microbrew.com.ar/) where the initial registration must be made. The web brings together the information generated in the mobile app. On this platform, all registered data can be accessed in an orderly manner, allowing them to be viewed and managed, reports can be generated to save or print, and it enables different users within the same brewery to upload data.

Count:
In this section you will be able to perform yeast counts using the improved or traditional Neubauer chamber. For each count you will be able to obtain important information when it comes to standardizing yeast management in your factory, it allows you to enter the name of the sample, the batch number, the yeast strain (more than 60 loaded strains and the possibility of entering yours) as well as the origin of it. The count can be performed by observing under a microscope using a manual counter. Or you can also take photos of the neubauer camera quadrants, using a microscope cell phone holder, and count directly on the photo. In this section you can take photos from the application or use images from the gallery, if you cannot finish the count at the moment, you can save and continue the count later.
For all cases, the application calculates the concentration of total, live, dead cells and the viability of the yeast.

inocula:
The application allows you to calculate the volume of cream that you have to inoculate in your next batch, as well as keep a record of it. Entering the volume of the batch to be inoculated, the initial density, the inoculum rate and selecting the cream that you are going to use (calculated in the Count section) calculates the volume of cream necessary to have a good fermentation.
Ferments:
The application allows you to monitor fermentations through the periodic loading of density, pH and temperature data. The graphs obtained from these variables as a function of time are extremely important when it comes to standardizing fermentation and detecting possible problems that may have an impact on the quality of the final product.

Download 3D supports:
It offers the possibility of downloading a model to print on a 3D printer and allows you to mount any cell phone or tablet on any microscope, since it has two different models for different sizes of eyepieces. All the distances are adjustable using the rails and it only requires 3 metric screws. In the tutorials you will be able to find the video that explains how to assemble the device.
