Montelago Celtic Festival is an event focused on music and culture of the Celtic tradition, which takes place every August in Serravalle di Chienti (Mc). Now in its fifteenth edition, the Festival, organized by Nomad Art in collaboration with Regione Marche, Province of Macerata Serravalle di Chienti (Mc), Cosmari, Civil Protection Marche Region and with the institutional patronage of the Irish Embassy in Italy, Italian Rugby Federation and Legambiente, welcomes each year about 20 000 participants from all over Italy and abroad.
Over time, the stage of the review, have continued the best names in contemporary Celtic music as Hevia, Kíla, Berrogüetto, Davy Spillane, Mercedes Peόn and re-enactments of battles, Celtic dances, games, workshops, campfires and menhirs have animated the spirit gallic along with lectures and discussions on relevant topics and suggestion, such as fantasy, globalization and intercultural.

Starting from The Sidh, Italian band, who will perform on the main stage with the dancers of the Innova Irish Dance Company, champions of Irish dancing, and the new BeinnLoch Pipe Band, formed by some of the best Italian and Scottish bagpipers, through the Austrians of Celtica Pipes Rock Festival to create a concert and a movie together Senese Choral Union Ettore Bastianini, until three concerts made in Scotland - Treacherous Orchestra, Ross Ainslie and Ali Hutton, Dosca - created in collaboration with the Festival Celtic Connections Glasgow. There will, then, the traditional activities related to the reenactment, sports, cultural and interesting insights in solidarity initiatives, with a focus this year for the areas and populations affected by the earthquake. This edition of Montelago want to be, in fact, an ode to all those who, though hit hard by the earthquake, they decided to resist; great feast of incoming safety of the crater area, the event will promote different focus on cultural revitalization of those lands, activating, for example, a fundraising project in favor of the epicenter, large traveling festival, intended to make up for the winter municipalities seasons earthquake in autumn winter 2017/2018.
