In this post, I am going to show you how to install Pepper's Ghost Lite on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. Step By Step Guide To Install Pepper's Ghost Lite using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. This app allows you to create hologram-like effects for your Halloween projects. The Pepper's Ghost is the same effect used at Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion. This effect was also used to show Tupac singing on stage at Coachella in 2012 long after his death.

To create the illusion you simply need a ghostly bright image (i.e. this app) and a small sheet of clear glass or plastic placed at a 45 degree angle relative to your Android device. Tip: You can use the sheet of glass from any generic photo frame. The image from your Android device will be reflected onto the glass or plastic.

By dimly lighting up the area behind where the ghost will appear, you can make the ghost appear transparent.

Scary Halloween-themed sounds are included with all ghosts. Most ghosts are flash-like animations and usually include movement and particle effects. Sound, movement, and particles can be turned off at the title screen if you want your ghost to behave in fixed way.

For phone sized Android devices this app can help you create a scary haunted doll house or 'ghost-containment unit'. For tablet sized devices, you can scale up the effect to show in a window of your home. And, with a little creativity and a projector, you can make the ghost very large indeed!
