Anyone still remember Jiban? Robot police who like to throw a card inscribed Jiban and always read chapter by chapter before catching criminals? Generation 90 must remember. Jiban is one of tokusatsu series of hero metal genre. Actually there are several genres of tokusatsu serial, the following are:
1. Metal Hero (to be discussed in this article)
2. Kamen Rider (in Indonesia translated into Black Steel Knight, the most popular is KBH RX aka Knight of Black Steel RX)
3. Ultraman (tells a gigantic creature named Ultraman derived from the planet Ultra)
4. Super Sentai (in Indonesia translated into Power Ranger The American version is more popular than the original version of Japan).

In today's discussion, we will discuss 5 Metal Hero ever popular in Indonesia. Metal Hero was in its heyday in the 1990s. Had time to appear in the year 2000an but not too popular and finally until now no longer local TV station Indonesia that aired it. Here is a series of Metal Hero ever popular in Indonesia.

1. Gaban (Uchuu Keiji Gavan)
This is the first series of the Space Sheriff, telling a policeman who was sent to Earth to fight an alien invasion. The Earth was attacked by the Makuu Empire led by Don Horror. Space Cop Gabin emerged from the Bird Planet and was asked to defend the earth. He is assisted by Mimi and informed by Qom. In order not to be recognized, he disguised himself as Retsu Ichijouji. 2. Sharipan (Uchuu Keiji Sharivan)

3. Jiban (Kidou Keiji Jiban)
In the English version, this series is better known as Mobile Detective Jiban. Tells about a police robot who fought against the evil Bioron syndicate, head of Doctor Giba. Jiban is a tokusatsu series made by Toei. Jiban is the 8th Metal Hero series of a series of Metal Hero series. The series was aired by Asahi TV from January 29, 1989 to January 28, 1990.

The thing that is really unique in this Jiban series is at the time Jiban want to fight against the monsters Bioron. Before the fight, Jiban always read the articles that are charged to the criminals (monsters) one by one. After all the chapters are read out, a new battle begins.


4. Janperson (Tokusou Robo Janperson)
You could say, Janperson is a successor from Jiban. Both have a robot police concept. In its English version, Janperson is better known as the special Investigation Robot Janperson. Janperson is a tokusatsu series made by Toei. Janperson is the 12th Metal Hero series of a series of Metal Hero series. The series was aired by Asahi TV from January 31, 1993 to January 23, 1994. In Indonesia, the tokusatsu series in Janperson was aired by Indosiar television station in 1997.

4. Winspector (Tokkei Winspector)
This one tokusatsu series is quite legendary. The main character is 3 police robots (one of them is human), they are named Fire (red), Walter (blue) and also Bycle (yellow). Winspector is the 9th Metal Hero series of a series of Metal Hero series. The series was aired by Asahi TV from February 4, 1990 to January 13, 1991. In Indonesia, the tokusatsu series on Winspector was aired by Indosiar television station in 1995.
