St.Clare’s hand a humble beginning as a L.P. School and its inauguration was on 24th May, 1924. The school passed another mile stone when it was upgraded as a High School on 3rd June, 1957.

Elevation into the Status of Higher Secondary School came as a deserving reward for the unyielding and uncompromising efforts to attain the heights of glory.Ansleena who was the then H.M. took charge as the 1st Principal of the school. School has succeeded to maintain a delicate balance between curricular activities & co-curricular activities.

Institution has produced toppers in academic, artistic and sports fields. Excellent results that we used to have crowned in 2004 with our dual achievements of winning 111rd rank in +2 Science by Anupama TV and state first in SC section by Anuji P. Supran along with 100% result

In 2006 Rev. Sr. Ansleena retired after Years of dedicated service. According to the government order H.S.S was separated from H.S section and Rev. Sr. Ushus took over the charge as the new principal in 1st April, 2006.In 2007 school celebrated its Golden Jubilee. In 2010 Rev. Sr. Ushus was promoted as Asst. Professor in L.F. College Guruvayoor and Rev. Sr. Phonsy Maria took Charge as the new Principal
