In this post, I am going to show you how to install Dr.OnOff (Trial) on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Dr.OnOff (Trial) using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

1) Setup Raspberry Pi and PiFace Digital 2 (raspi-config -> enable SPI)
2) Install these python libs:
sudo apt-get install python{,3}-pifacedigitalio
sudo apt-get install python{,3}-pifacecommon
3) Download this python script: http://www.bsc101.eu/dronoff/dronoff3.py
4) Run the script dronoff3.py on the Raspberry: python3 dronoff3.py
5) Add a device in the app, use the IP of your Raspberry and port 50290 (you can change the port in the script), set Board to Raspberry Pi + PiFace Digital 2
