JKT48 (pronounced [Je.Key.Ti. Forty-eight]) is an idol group from Indonesia. Formed in 2011, JKT48 is idol group formed 48Group sisters (AKS Co.Ltd/Kabushiki-gaisha AKS) in partnership with PT. Dentsu Admark Inter Media Group Indonesia (as the Agency and the management of shade) is the first in Southeast Asia, and JKT48 is Idol Group First in Indonesia. JKT48 indirectly produced by Yasushi Akimoto.

JKT48 is the sister group of AKB48 the first to be outside Japan. AKB48 adopted the concept of "Idol You Can Meet". JKT48 hold regular performances almost every day in the Theater JKT48, the 4th floor of the mall fX Sudirman, Jakarta.

Until now JKT48 has a membership of 64 people. The group's first album, Heavy Rotation was released on February 16, 2013 by Hits Records. Their first single, River was released on May 11, 2013 (theatrical version) and May 17, 2013 (regular version). His second album is "Mahagita" was released on March 23, 2016, in this second album JKT48 reached rank 5 in terms of sales on iTunes. And their third album is "JKT48 Festival Greatest Hits" was released on February 22, 2017. This third album, JKT48 cooperation with Jagonya Music & Sport Indonesia were distributed to KFC.
