Youth Radio is an online radio belonging to the area of ​​Social Communication of the Salesian Congregation in Argentina (Salesian Province? Artémides Zatti ?, RNA).

Mission

Aware of the importance that currently have the media, our mission is to evangelize, educate and communicate through the radio medium, using new technologies to bridge the gap with the various youth realities, especially with those most vulnerable.

Protagonists young

Being a Salesian proposal and betting on youth leadership, the team of Youth Radio is entirely made up of young people both in production and in the direction- from various works of the Salesian North Argentina.
The target audience are mainly youths; and from them to the public in general.

Position ourselves as a new channel of the Provincial Team Social Communication RNA, framed in the Salesian Social Communication System (SSCS) and following the footsteps of Don Bosco, to be instruments of education and evangelization of our audience, especially poor young people.
We are convinced that we have something to say, a message from Jesus that transcends us. It is what moves us to act and to dream of a radial proposal towards the Salesian mission; with a development plan, and seeking quality content, production and broadcasting.

The central concepts that we aim with this project are:

? Youths role as an experience of self-management and self-determination of young people, accompanied by Salesian educators and under the guidelines of the Preventive System of Don Bosco dreamed.

? Diversity in the ways of being young. There is a myriad of social and cultural variables that influence the construction of youth identity. Starting from this, recognizing that there are many ways of being young, and conscious of the wealth generated by the diversity of experiences; we want our proposals are diverse, attractive and reach the hearts of young people.

? Educommunication as an educational pedagogy that, through communication, is capable of transforming society; the protagonists of communication the same recipients, rather than being mere? listeners? for subjects who always have something to communicate.

Working together and talking together, we will build a glimpse of reality. A critical view of the media and the places in which one lives; an evangelical, optimistic and hopeful look.

The public

In the first part of our project, we want to reach young people linked to, especially the most disadvantaged Salesian field (students, former students, teachers, animators?). Then we reach the various youth and the general public

Contributing?

A look? Salesian? realities; that is to say. an evangelical, critical, optimistic and hopeful look, where the protagonists are young. We also want to bring significant and important for the construction of the gaze, in a shared way of community building elements.

Networking with other institutions, groups and individuals will be essential; sharing personal experiences and contributions to build glances.
