In this post, I am going to show you how to install IPB Innovation on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install IPB Innovation using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "IPB Innovation" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

The challenge for higher education and research and development (R & D) in Indonesia, including IPB, now and for the future is to transfer technology or commercialization of research results or innovations / technologies that have been generated. Innovation IPB potentially economically and / or ready to be applied to the industry or society needs to be promoted or disseminated to various stakeholders (private, government / local government and the wider community). It is necessary for innovation IPB provide a positive impact for the community, providing jobs and establish entrepreneurship. The success of the promotion and commercialization of innovation IPB expected to have an impact on income generating wider IPB and make Indonesia an independent technology and national economic growth can be enhanced by the use of innovation in the country.

As a research-based university, Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) has produced many research, both basic research and applied research (innovation) to be applied in industry and society. In the 8 (eight) years (2008-2015), IPB dominate Indonesian Most Prospective Innovative Works selected by Business Innovation Center (BIC), in which a total of 828 of the most prospective innovation Indonesia with 323 or approximately 39% of innovation is innovative work resulting by innovators IPB. For the invention-based patents, patent applications IPB cumulative total to 2015 was 322 patent applications, of which 75 of them are patent granted.

Universities status as a legal entity (PTN BH), in a planned and systematic IPB continue to make efforts in the commercialization of the results of research / innovation. IPB established PT Bogor Life Science & Technology (BLST) in 2003 as a holding company which is mandated to deliver science, technology and innovations developed IPB to a commercial level. To that end, IPB invite relevant stakeholders (industry, government, the public at large) in collaboration with IPB to develop innovations that benefit the community for the construction of a better Indonesia.
