Based on Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, theory X and theory Y Douglas McGregor and contemporary theories of motivation, sense of motivation is the 'reason' underlying an act committed by an individual. Someone said to have high motivation can mean the person has a very strong reason to achieve what he wants to do his current job. In contrast to the motivation in the sense that develops in people who are often confused with the 'spirit', as an example in conversation "I want my child to have a high motivation". This statement can be interpreted that parents want their children to have a high learning spirit. Thus, it should be understood that there are differences in the use of the term motivation in the community. Nothing defines motivation as a reason, and there is also interpreted in a spirit of motivation.
