The sports game has 2 modes. In hard mode aiming the ball is more challenging and you have to tap the angle meter to choose the shooting angle.

You can tap either side of the football to curve it.

Best of 5 goals wins or first to 3.

You can purchase Super Shot power ups from the game's store (via in app purchase) that allows you to lock in maximum power for each kick attempt so makes it easier to aim and score. You can buy 5, 10 and 20 Super Shots using Google Wallet.
