GST Calculator-IGST/CGST/SGST app allows you to calculate GST tax on any item with all tax rate slabs. An app allows you to calculate Inclusive or Exclusive Tax on MRP.

~Understanding IGST, CGST and SGST (Inclusive)~

Let us assume that a dealer in Karnataka had sold the goods to a dealer in Tamilnadu worth ₹50,000/-. The GST rate is 18% comprising of only IGST. In such case, the dealer has to charge ₹7,627.12/- as IGST. This IGST revenue will go to the central government.

The same dealer in Karnataka had sold the goods within Karnataka worth ₹50,000/-. The GST rate is 18%. This rate comprises 9% CGST and 9% SGST. In such case, the dealer has to collect ₹3,813.56/- as CGST and ₹3,813.56/- as SGST. ₹3,813.56/- will go to the central government and ₹3,813.56/- will go to the state government.

~Understanding IGST, CGST and SGST (Exclusive)~

Let us assume that a dealer in Karnataka had sold the goods to a dealer in Tamilnadu worth ₹50,000/-. The GST rate is 18% comprising of only IGST. In such case, the dealer has to charge ₹9,000/- as IGST. This IGST revenue will go to the central government.

The same dealer in Karnataka had sold the goods within Karnataka worth ₹50,000/-. The GST rate is 18%. This rate comprises 9% CGST and 9% SGST. In such case, the dealer has to collect ₹4,500/- as CGST and ₹4,500/- as SGST. ₹4,500/- will go to the central government and ₹4,500/- will go to the state government.
