WebWeaver Basic on Windows Pc

WebWeaver® Basic allows the members of a WebWeaver® platform convenient mobile use of WebWeaver® functions on Android smartphones and Android tablets. The app features in the current basic version with the following functions:

- File Locations
- Messenger
- Browser

Use of the app requires membership in a platform that is based on WebWeaver®. Furthermore, the members on the platform the necessary rights to use the individual functions must be given. For the rights of either setting the respective licensee (operator of the platform) or an institution administrator on the platform is in charge, who set up the member access and manage it.

Private device vs. Common device

When you first start the app asks whether a private device is used. If the device is not a private but a occupied with other people unit, are push notifications and storing logins into the app for privacy not available. This setting is, inter alia, useful if the mobile devices learners are provided by an institution (eg school).

Login

To access the platform via WebWeaver® Basic same login is required as in the Platform Log in browser. Logs can be saved in the app. Select the desired login, the user after starting the app "select Login" to choose or delete unneeded logins again. For safety reasons, the user can at any time prevent the login the app on a device on the platform itself by saying, "devices and services", select the app deletes in his personal area under "Settings", "External Services". This is, for example, useful if the device in question has been lost or stolen.

Push notifications

If the user anhakt "Remember Me" option when logging in, the app will automatically log him every time you start the app with this login until it logs out again on "Logout" explicitly. "Remember Me" option and the Notification Service (push notifications) for the app is activated with the login in question, ie the user will then at any time messages about new messages and system messages until he logs out in the app.

In addition to the Basic version and a Pro version is available in Google Play. This offers more opportunities in the file management (create folders, upload from the device and from the camera, etc.) to send files in Messenger, access to all forums on the question WebWeaver®Plattform well as messages and personal notes.
