In this post, I am going to show you how to install Randoii on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Play Randoii using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Randoii" icon on the home screen to start playing, it'll work like a charm :D

"Randoii" was a quick game I created just for fun during a programming LAN party, it took 7 or maybe 8 hours to make. All sound effects were done using my mouth on a crappy built-in laptop microphone, you may even hear other people talking (or giggling) in the background.

In this game you take on the role of the brave yet greedy square Randoii. It loves coins more than anything and will do all it can to get them! Touch anywhere to tell Randoii to go there (keep your finger on the screen).

Pickups:

Coin - Collect these to gain score.
Enemy - I'm not sure what they are supposed to be, all I know is that they are bad for you and should be avoided! Takes 30 health from you.
Haste - Three green arrows that makes Randoii go faster.
Shrink - Light blue arrows that makes Randoii smaller.
Medkit - Grab it to restore 20 health!
Nuke - Equip yourself with a powerful explosion that removes enemies. After you've taken the nuke, tap anywhere on the screen to use it there.
Bag - Contains 10 coins that will be scattered around after you take the bag.

The goal is to beat your old score. Collect as many coins you can until you die. Randoii will heal itself as long as you keep picking up coins so never stop and rest! You can get over 100 health using the medkit but it will slowly drain down to 100 over time.

Don't stand still for too long or 10 enemies will appear at once and the game will pause until you start moving again.

"Randoii" has not been optimized, it depends entirely on your device's strength if it manages to keep up 60 fps.

Challenge: Try to get a score of over 150!
