This sketch meets the requirements of the directives of the Inspector General as for theme 1 - The urbanization of the world - in the geography program for grades 4, it says: "The implementation perspective not of the cases studied is done using world maps: the cities studied are placed back on the map of major cities worldwide and the major networks or global flows. One can thus highlighting the global expansion of urbanization, its differentiated growth and uneven distribution, but also shed light on a cartographic map, the idea of ​​a network of global cities in relation to each other, who are in control of globalization. [...] The realization of sketches and simple schemes can allow students to work on graphic language and re-engage the pins. ".
Therefore, we can offer a simple sketch (for 4th, reusable up Tray or Post Bac) entitled "Growth and urban hierarchy in the world."
