Free Light was designed for phones that don't have a flashlight utility built in by default or for someone that's looking for more functionality than offered by their existing flashlight. The app uses a simple interface and was designed to be a "No-Frills" flashlight app that's just flat out easy to use.

You will find two functions; the first is just like every other flashlight and uses the camera flash LED to provide a very bright light with a large on screen button for simple On/Off operation. The second is the use of the phone's screen as a light when you don't need something as bright and powerful as the LED used by the camera. While using the phone's screen as a light you will notice a soft white light much like a small lamp would provide. The soft white light can be adjusted with an On-Screen slider to adjust the displays brightness level without altering your normal display settings outside of the app.

If you’re sick of app's packed full of ad’s and just want a basic flashlight that works…. than this is the app your looking for.
