In this post, I am going to show you how to install POWERUP X FPV Drone on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install POWERUP X FPV Drone using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "POWERUP X FPV Drone" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

HOW TO CONNECT:

Slide in the battery into your PowerUp FPV, Drone will automatically turn on. In your smartphone settings, choose the PowerUp FPV Wifi network, launch the POWERUP FPV app.

HOW TO SET UP STREAMING QUALITY:

Open the app and choose settings and go to the wifi page, Choose your country and available wifi channel, use the Wifi scanner to search for available wifi channels when you go out flying.

PILOTING MODES:

Take-off­ - press the launch button, push the throttle to full and launch the PowerUp FPV into the sky, once airborne the propellers will spin automatically and airplane will ascend and keep straight heading.

GamePad flight mode - similar to RC stick and throttle control, increasing/decreasing the thrust will cause the airplane to go up or down, moving the control lever right or left will steer the airplane.

FPV flight mode - ­ Experience immersive flight on a paper airplane via the included Google Cardboard viewer, control is done by tilting your head in the direction you want to fly.

Recovery mode ­ - Return Home flight mode (RH), provides safe recovery during loss of control or communication, airplane will turn back and land close to the pilot proximity. A high intensity buzzer will automatically activate during recovery mode in order to assist the customer in locating the drone after landing.

VIDEO AND STILL IMAGE CAPTURE:

● Videos photos can be captured during flight in all flight modes. Recorded content is saved on the micro­-sd card (not included) all reordered media can also be transferred directly to your smartphone over wifi for sharing on Instagram Facebook or Youtube

GOOGLE CARDBOARD VIEWER:

POWERUP FPV includes a high quality Google Cardboard from which enables real time and low latency FPV from your Paper Airplane, control is very intuitive even for the novice pilot thanks to our 10 sensors and autopilot stabilization software.
The viewer includes external button for capturing still photos during flight and for innitiating takeoff and abort functions
