After the piercing, it is important to care for the ear properly to heal completely before starting to wear earrings and pendants that have been waiting in your jewelry box. If your ear is infected, you should let the piercing pit close again. Learn how to care for a newly pierced ear and watch for signs indicating that you need medical care.

Method

1 Handle the Pothole Carefully
Do not remove the pierced earring until your piercing pit is healed. When you are first pierced ears, technicians will pierce by inserting antique piercings. This earring is made of hypoallergenic material and has a specific stalk part that is designed to be safe if it stays in your ears for an unspecified time. If you release it too fast, your piercing hole may close or not heal properly.
If the piercing is done on your ear leaf, antique piercing can be removed after six weeks.
If the piercing is done on the cartilage, the piercing earrings can be removed after a period of between eight to twelve weeks.
2 Do not touch your ears often. Holding a pierced pit without any need can cause infection. Do not touch the pierp except to clean it. If you need to touch it, wash your hands first with antibacterial soap.
3 Be careful with objects that may be involved in your earring. Hats, scarves, and other objects that may be involved in your earring should be worn with care. Avoid objects like earplugs or tight-fitted hats that press against your ears.

Do not swim in a swimming pool with newly pierced ears unless you cover it with antiair material. Try as much as possible to keep your head on the surface of the water. You will be able to swim back in the pool after six weeks.
