The research activities hadith is not addressed only to what the news material in the hadith that, commonly known as the problem of honor hadith, but also to a wide range of matters relating to the narrations, in this case sanadnya, namely a series of narrators who deliver matan hadith to us ,

The existence of narrators will determine the quality of hadith, good quality sanad and matan hadith quality. During these narrations requires in-depth research and study to find out which ones are acceptable and which are rejected, it is absolutely necessary to have rules and standards as a reference to study of Hadith criticism.

There are many scholars of the narrators, but that is often used as a reference hadith-hadith there are seven scholars, namely Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim, Imam Abu Daud, Tirmidhi Imam, Imam Ahmad, Al-Nasa'i, and Ibn Majah.
