In this post, I am going to show you how to install llink on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install llink using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "llink" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

llink has the following features

1. LinkedIn universal registration and login API to login to llink app.
2. Around Me professional finder: - Geo-location update and location based user search
3. Real-time messaging system
4. Allows to share the app with your contacts
6. LinkedIn user invite messaging.

The registration to llink app is via authentication of LinkedIn API and basic professional details (name, current designation, current industry and linkedIn location) of the user is fetched from LinkedIn database. This is used for display of users basic professional profile in llink app.

All llink app services mentioned above are free of cost and easy to use for the llink app user.

The Around Me feature is the main highlight of the llink app. This feature helps llink users to find other professionals registered with llink who are within 1500 feet from their current location at any time. This requires all llink users to update most current location data for the Around Me results to be most current.

Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Hence, llink app team has taken extensive measures to reduce battery drain, while using Android location services to provide you the around me service. llink app lets you switch on your GPS when you choose to so that we can provide you more accurate results. We would be able to show only approximate location of users who have not turned on their GPS.
