DISCLAIMER: This app is for software testing, entertainment and educational purposes only. This app is NOT to be used for medical, health care or fitness related purposes. Please also note that some users have reported difficulties creating the bluetooth connection. At this time, I'm afraid I do not have the necessary resources to debug this educational, experimental, ad-free test app for all users.

If you own a Contec Medical Systems CMS50FW pulse oximeter (which supports Bluetooth data streaming), this app attempts to read and display the pulse rate and oxygen level data over Bluetooth.

In addition, this app allows the user to set a threshold value for minimum blood oxygen level. If the reported blood oxygen level from the CMS50FW dips below the threshold for too many seconds, the app attempts to detect that event and attempts to sound an alarm on the Android device.

The app also attempts to sound an alarm if it detects that the CMS50 user's finger is removed from the pulse-ox sleeve, or if it detects that the bluetooth connection is dropped for some reason.

Also note: at the current time, this app does not accurately detect pulse rates above 127 beats per minute.
