Renovating your existing dormer

Imagine, you have a dormer of wood that is in poor condition and you would like that you did not have to worry about it and not have to go on the roof again every few years to paint the dormer.

What happens when renovating a roof line:

Remove old glazing;
Frame removal and replacement;
Replacing lead;
Dismantle side panels and fascias;
Bolsters replaced by a material of choice (Trespa, Keralit boarding, WBP warranty plate or red cedar cladding boards);
Share buoy replaced by Trespa, Keralit buoy part, WBP warranty sheet or Red Cedar buoy part;
New wooden or plastic frame insert into the existing recess with double insulated glazing (HR + or HR ++), possibly with ventilation;
As far as possible, we try to fit to the insulation of the dormer window and to improve them;
Disposal of the waste.
If leaks to the dormer, the roofing will have to be renewed, this is not always the case, but if you decide to also execute this we can also achieve the same at the same day.

Renovate or replace?
When the renovations are too large it might be advisable to go through us to get two bids, one for the renovation and one a totally new dormer.
