This application is part of the project that transforms the campus of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) in a large open-air museum platform.

The idea behind the project in addition to widely disseminate knowledge to many different audiences, is to take the visitor to the place where science is produced, thus expanding even the relationship between the University and the Society.

When you start your interactive experience, visitors have access to tracks with different points of interest, related to different areas of knowledge existing at the University. The project can also be access www.caminhos.ufscar.br.
"Paths of Knowledge" is a project developed by Open Interaction Laboratory for Dissemination of Scientific and Technological Knowledge (www.labi.ufscar.br), with funding from the National Development and Technological Council (CNPq).

QR Code
Other points of interest bring QR Code signals with interactive content. While walking the trail, visitors use the cameras from their mobile devices (tablets and mobile phones), pointing to the QR Codes to unlock and access the content.

Augmented Reality
Visitors can also visit the UFSCar and know the contents with your camera using Augmented Reality technology. The operation remains simple and intuitive: the application, after choosing the item "augmented reality", the visitor point the camera in different directions while watching the informational content appearing on their screens. Information is located in different areas of the institution. The observed result is a mixture of real space it is witnessing the background with a virtual layer of information that is added to this spatiality.

For the best experience, we recommend checking:

- If location service is enabled;
- If "use wireless network" is enabled;

Heads Up! For the proper functioning of Augmented Reality, the device must have accelerometer, compass and GPS.
