Audit4 is an app that has been specifically designed for company internal auditors. It is the only auditing app that is template based and doesn’t rely on the auditor to key in his/her own questions. It is based on a traffic light system, with all questions being scored and the scores weighted. The idea for the app came from Allen Copley of Crystal Clear Management Systems who is a BSI registered Lead Auditor with more than 25 years auditing experience. The app has, and continues to be developed by the Digital and Creative Department of Leeds Beckett University.

The purpose of the app is to assist internal auditors to carry out comprehensive internal audits and produce statistics based audit reports

The app has 3 distinct and unique features:

• Traffic Light red, amber, green system – easy for anyone to understand
• Scored and weighted audits – low, medium and high value questions
• Reports by percentage giving senior management the opportunity to set improvement objectives

The app comes with pre-designed templates for auditing quality, environment health & safety and security – you can commence auditing immediately without having to input your own questions

Uses a simply traffic light scoring system:

• Red – Non-conforming, below company standards/requirements
• Amber – Requires some improvement
• Green – Conforming, meets company standards/requirements

All questions are scored and the scores are weighted Low, Medium, High

• Low scores 2
• Medium scores 4
• High scores 8

Scoring of questions can be adjusted to suit individual companies and the auditor has the opportunity to add his own questions and scores to the audit.

• During an audit the auditor will be able to add notes and take photographs

• Templates can be designed for auditing any process

• Templates can also be designed for auditing any standard for any industry

• All questions have 3 possible answers which are graded in a traffic light system Red, Amber, Green

• Questions are scored so a percentage result is obtained
