The GrindCare App allows you to visualize grinding or clenching activity detected by the BUTLER® GrindCare® device during sleep and track improvements over time. You can also enter observations in the diary section to identify key behavioral or circumstantial triggers.

In the morning, you can transfer the previous night’s data from the GrindCare device to the app. To do so, please refer to the instruction manual of BUTLER GrindCare device and open the app to establish a connection. The data will be automatically transferred, and you will be able to browse the app at your convenience during the day.

On the home screen, you will find an overview of detected grinding and clenching from the most recently transferred night’s data. The bars indicate when and how often the GrindCare device detected grinding or clenching; the number on the top right indicates the total number of detected grinds or clenches for this particular night.

Using the diary function, you can select a smiley emoticon corresponding to how you felt upon waking up. You can also add observations regarding any specific life circumstances or events that you may later be able to correlate with your data in order to identify your primary grinding or clenching triggers.

The app also has a history tab where you can review the progress of your nightly grinding or clenching, along with how you felt on each corresponding morning to track improvements. You can also access the more detailed data and observations from a specific night in the past.

The GrindCare App needs to access the device (i.e., mobile device such as smartphone) location in order to be connected with a BUTLER GrindCare device, so that you can visualize the grinding or clenching activities detected by the BUTLER GrindCare device. Upon starting the app, you are prompted and asked to allow the app to access to the device location.
