“Common and Odd” is an App targeted to children in early stages of development, or to children with developmental delay, in the sense of categorization of groups by color, shape and kind. Also, the App presents the complementary side of the categorization of groups, which is identifying the exceptional in a group.

In the levels of identifying the common categories, the child is asked “What is common to: …?”, and with guidance of an adult or with a therapist, the child will say the common category, or several answers that may share among the presented pictures. The answers the application presents are in the sense of kind of, action or function they perform, feature they have.

Pressing the question mark button will reveal the obvious category, but there could be other correct answers too.

In the levels of identifying the odd or exceptional item from within the group, the child is asked “What is the exceptional item: …?”, and with the guidance if an adult or with a therapist, the child will say the answer, press on the image he suspect is the exception item, and the answer will be revealed.

At any time, the child can press on the question mark button, and the correct answer will be revealed.

Note: After 7 days you will be presented with a screen to download the paid version or quit the App.
