　我が家はもともと、「桶屋（木桶づくりや修理）」が専門で、しば漬けだけを、大原女さんとご縁あって、京の都のあちこちで売り歩いていただいておりました。木桶の需要減少を契機に、昭和四五年、辻しば漬本舗として創業、本格的な漬物製造を始めました。
　私どもでは、創業当初より赤紫蘇を自社栽培しております。春先から夏までは紫蘇づくり一色です。また、秋から冬にかけては、すぐきや、日の菜、小かぶらなど、季節の野菜をできるだけ生産し、大原の自然と大地の恵みも一緒に伝えられる漬物づくりに取り組んでいます。
　漬け込みの大半は、人の手で手間暇かけています。場所もとるし、時間もかかりますが、ひとつひとつの作業に誇りと愛情をもって、丹精込めています。
　“つくること”“伝えること”を大切に、これからも「家業としてのつけもんや」であり続けるよう努力してまいります。
