The vocation of the Hotel Rural Paraje del Asturcon is to be a family place, meeting people in harmony lovers of nature, culture, gastronomy and active tourism.

The hotel

House inspired by the traditional architecture of the area, is made with modern construction techniques in terms of structure and facilities, built in 1997. They are combined with harmony and wide spaces wood, brick and stone . Is a building with its own personality, with a unique decor, mixing styles, conveys to visitors the feeling of being at home.

There is a large living room with different environments. Your fireplace, his wingback chairs and large windows are works of living art for the senses, inviting us to read or tertulia.También can enjoy another game room with pool table, comfortable armchairs, tables for chess, cards , dominos, etc.

In our small library you will find novel, children's books and informative brochures, maps, illustrations and magazines. There are terraces and porches where sunbathing and watching the colorful environment relax.

The farm

The hotel is located on a farm of one hectare eight minutes from the village of Ribadesella within the council or municipality of the same name, in the village of Junco. The farm was originally arable and grassland, being old known as the "Place of the Asturcón".

Its location, on a hill mid-mountain, between the valley of the River Sella, the Cantabrian Mountains and the Picos de Europa always nearby, makes the place is really nice.

Bedrooms

All rooms are different and each window of the building is a treat for the panoramic view of the Cantabrian Sea and the Picos de Europa.

We have 10 rooms (two wheelchair accessible), seven doubles, one suite, a quadruple and a triple, resulting sleeps 26; all have heating, bathroom, spacious closets and television. The rooms upstairs are attic rooms with wooden floors on the ground floor and high ceilings of wooden pontoons with mud floors.

We have two rooms for the disabled.

Activities and Services

In the hotel we accept animals and have completed three kennels (dog-hotel) on the farm for the convenience of customers whether large dog.

We finished the stable and already have eight sheep and a few hens.

We are partners of the Golf Course La Rasa de Berbes, just 15 minutes from the hotel, and our customers have partner status to enjoy its facilities (see offer free Green Fee).

Fencing around its perimeter, the Hotel has private parking, garden and a hectare meadow, where children and adults can enjoy outdoor activities such as croquet, badminton, petanque, playground, etc.

We offer restaurant service with buffet breakfasts and lunches or dinners by reservation. In the summer, barbecues are made twice a week for all customers, and other days can be booked privately, dinner grilled seafood and meats.

Furthermore our hotel enjoys a strategic location when short excursions, since from Ribadesella there are many destinations within an hour's drive (Cangas, Covadonga, Arenas de Cabrales, Picos de Europa, Llanes, San Vicente, Comillas, etc.).

We collaborate with area museums and companies specializing in active tourism to make the descent of Sella canoeing, quad biking, caving, canyoning, mountain biking, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, etc. All activities can be hired from the hotel.
