In this post, I am going to show you how to install KakaoTalk Photo Backup on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. Step By Step Guide To Install KakaoTalk Photo Backup using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. There are 3 ways to use this app.

1. Finding Photos
Click the Find Photos button to view photos you have received via KakaoTalk.
When you're done finding your photos, you can check out your memories.

2. Select photos
Discovered photos can be selected by touch, long touch allows you to see larger photos.

3. Save
The selected photos can be saved with the Save button.
Save to default path: Saved to "internal storage / PhotoBackup".
Save as a compressed file: Saved as PhotoBackup.zip, you can select the save path.
(Selectable path such as external SD card, USB, Google Drive, etc.)
* When saving as 4GB or larger compressed file, it is divided into multiple compressed files.
* Please create a file as many as the number of compressed files you need according to the capacity.
