# Huh? What is Wakification?
Wakification is a combination of 'Wake’ / ‘Wake-up', 'Notify’ / ‘Notification' and 'Location’ / ‘Position'. It wakes you up / sends you a notification based on your GPS location and position. And the best off all: it is free of charge and usable without internet*.
- You only need internet access to save a location. All the rest works offline by GPS whenever you have saved a location.

# Why?
Because I, as a developer, had troubles with staying awake in the bus and train and missed my stop multiple times. I was used to set a regular alarm but sometimes public transport has delay or arrives earlier than planned. Therefore I woke up too early or missed my stop. And also your environment is affected by the sound of a regular alarm. Wakification plays it’s alarm through your earbuds whenever you plug them in.
I love to listen to music without the need to pay attention. Or watch a movie on Netflix without extra worries.

# Price
This alarm/wake-up app is fully free of charge. You have to earn ‘Wakeys’ by watching advertisements. With these Wakeys you will be able to save locations and set alarms.

# Battery usage and GPS
By using a smart, self-designed algorithm, your location will be requested only once in a while so GPS usage will be minimal.

# Personalize
Wakification is changeable to your own, personal flavor. Change its theme and choose from a variety of colors. Change the volume of the alarms or choose for a vibrating alarm only.

# Conclusion
Set an alarm, with or without a message, based on GPS and don’t worry anymore about your stops in public transport. Sleeping, listening to music or watching Netflix without paying attention if you have arrived your destination yet. The alarm will sound through your earbuds as well.
