In this post, I am going to show you how to install Teacher's Helper on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Teacher's Helper using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. Teacher’s Helper is a library of K12 lesson activities that can be filtered by grade and subject area. Grades are broken up into K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Subject areas include: Art, English, Science, Physical Education/Health, Math, and History. Activities are labeled by the average length of time they will take to complete and range from five-minute fillers to fifteen-minute lessons.

The activities are written in a streamlined fashion so that you, the teacher, can simply scan an activity and begin using it. Emphasis is placed on activities that do not require a lot of materials or preparation. You can label your favorite activities, making it easy to pull those up immediately.

Though the app will update itself whenever you have a wireless connection, you don’t need to have a connection to use Teacher’s Helper. That can be useful if you’re not in a wireless enabled environment while teaching.
