Step By Step Guide To Install CampusGuard911 using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. CampusGuard911 is a mobile panic button app for university and college faculty and staff. In the event of an active campus shooting emergency, a faculty or staff member presses the main CampusGuard911 panic button. As the app is dialing 911, an alert is immediately sent to the smartphones of all federal, state and local, ON and OFF duty, law enforcement officers who are in close proximity to the school and who belong to the Hero911 Network.

Additionally, an intra-campus alert is simultaneously sent to the smartphones of all faculty and staff and a mapped location of the initial alert is displayed (mapping depends on cell coverage). CampusGuard911 also alerts all other protected locations within a 5 mile radius of the initial alert.

CampusGuard911 is also listed in the AT&T FirstNet App Catalog as an emergency app for first responders.
