In this post, I am going to show you how to install COGINFOCOM@HAND on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install COGINFOCOM@HAND using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. The COGINFOCOM@HAND app is a virtual guide to the 5th IEEE International Conference on Cognitive Infocommunications (CogInfoCom 2014), which will be held in Vietri sul Mare, Italy, between 5-7 November, 2014. The app provides detailed information on the plenary talks and plenary speakers, and also includes a topic-oriented breakdown of the scientific papers to be presented. An interactive, offline map is integrated within the app to support GPS-enhanced navigation in the vicinity of the conference venue.


Scope:

CogInfoCom is a new interdisciplinary field of science defined as follows:
Cognitive infocommunications (CogInfoCom) investigates the link between the research areas of infocommunications and cognitive sciences, as well as the various engineering applications which have emerged as the synergic combination of these sciences. The primary goal of CogInfoCom is to provide a systematic view of how cognitive processes can co-evolve with infocommunications devices so that the capabilities of the human brain may not only be extended through these devices, irrespective of geographical distance, but may also interact with the capabilities of any artificially cognitive system. This merging and extension of cognitive capabilities is targeted towards engineering applications in which artificial and/or natural cognitive systems are enabled to work together more effectively.
