The 300th Birthday of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (1714-1788) shows the MKG musical instruments from the era of the late Baroque and the sensibility. "From the soul has to play, and not like a trained bird," said Bach describes in his famous "Essay on the True Art of Playing Keyboard" understanding of music of his era. On display are some 25 masterpieces of instrument making, including richly decorated stringed and fretted instruments from the workshop of Joachim Tielkes and Hamburg clavichord and harpsichord workshops hatred and cell. These instruments are housed in this complex app to be heard and presented by numerous detail shots. The sound world of the time of Bach's son brought back to life in the media communication program: Twenty music movies young musicians perform works of "Hamburg Bach" and his contemporaries, many of the exhibited historical instruments can be heard here.
