Forget-me-nots are found in Europe Asia America South Africa Australia and New Zealand.

Prefer wet areas. Grow in the clearings with fresh soil. Some species such as the swamp forget-me-not can be found on the banks of water bodies the outskirts of swamps along streams.

Forget-me-nots are annual or perennial herbaceous plants of small size usually very pubescent. Stems branched 10-40 cm high.

Flowers usually blue with a yellow "eye" sometimes pink or white collected in the inflorescence a curl or a brush.
