Frequently asked questions
The app doesn't connect, what should I do?
Your smartphone must support the 5GHz WiFi band. Please check first the product description, if your smartphone supports dual band wifi. It is not sufficient if it supports 802.11N, but 802.11 AC is absolutely fine. If the app does not connect, check if you can connect to the camera manually by choosing the camera WiFi in the WiFi settings of your phone. Still no luck? Please send me an email to support@denis-loh.com.

I live in Europe but I flashed the Standard version of the camera firmware. Does the app still work?
Actually, it depends on your smartphone. Due to European regulations, some frequencies aren't supported here. If you have an European certified smartphone, it is likely to work with the European firmware but not with the Standard firmware. I won't guarantee that it will work with this combination.

Why can't I record videos or photos with the GoPro?
The MK58 downlink isn't made for this. This basically caused by the GoPro which does not allow to control the camera through USB. Therefore you can only watch the live stream.

Does the app also allow to control the copter?
No, because the remote works on other frequencies and is technically distinct from each other. Due to security reasons I won't implement this feature.
- Google Cardboard FPV feature (in-app purchase)
- Switching between video and photo mode
*Note*: The app has a known bug on Samsung Galaxy S6 and S7 devices, where the video stream does not work. I am working in this.
