"The Carnegie Learning math textbooks, available here in a convenient eBook format, provide opportunities for students to explain their reasoning as they construct and interpret mathematical models. By engaging with a variety of real-world and mathematical problems, students are able to build on prior knowledge and intuition as they develop conceptual understanding and procedural fluency.

Our math student textbooks were intentionally designed to create mathematical thinkers who are active learners and active participants in class. As the primary classroom resource, the student text is a record of students’ thinking, reasoning, and problem solving.

With our math textbooks (here in eBook format) and blended learning solutions, the classroom looks different. As part of the process, students share their own ideas, listen to others, and then work together. This is how our Math Solution helps develop 21st century skills alongside the math content, which research shows us is a more effective path to deeper conceptual understanding.

Keep an eye out for important textbook features! The Standards for Mathematical Practice (SMP) are woven through every page, lesson, and activity in our texts. Worked examples are included, as research shows that learning is best supported with a mix of problem solving and worked examples. At the conclusion of each lesson, students demonstrate what they learned through exit tickets, graphic organizers, or writing tasks. And, there’s more! Ask us about our math textbooks and solutions for middle school and high school."
